Trinity Health Registered Neurodiagnostic Technician - Full-time, 40 hours in Pontiac, Michigan

Description:

The Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist provides professional quality patient care during the neurodiagnostic testing. The primary accountabilities of the Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist is having knowledge, competence in neurodiagnostic testing such as but not limited to EEG, vEEG, cEEG and EMU monitoring applications.

Education:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

  • Completion of Neurodiagnostic Technologist program preferredOR work experience in combination with completion of an accredited neuroscience/electroneurodiagnostic program.

Certification:

  • Current certification as Neurodiagnostic Technologist (R. EEG T.) preferred or able to obtain the R. EEG T.registration certification within 2 years of hire date.

  • Current Basic Life Support certification.

Experience:

  • 1+ year experience performing electroencephalographic (EEG) examinations.
