Journeyman HVAC Maintenance Mechanic – 3rd Shift

Location: Pontiac, MI | Pay: $43.83/hr | Temp-to-Perm | Union Position with UAW Benefits after going perm

We’re looking for a Journeyman HVAC Maintenance Mechanic to join our team on third shift and keep our facility running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Performing maintenance and repairs to preserve the physical assets of the building, systems, and equipment.

Troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure peak performance.

Conducting preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, speed and feed systems, and hydraulics.

Managing and repairing temperature control systems, indoor air quality equipment, and exhaust systems.

Working with controller programs like Allen-Bradley, Fanuc, and Siemens.

Replacing lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed.

Handling carpentry, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks.

Managing vendor services and ensuring all facility maintenance meets safety and compliance standards.

What You Bring to the Table:

Journeyman certification in HVAC, Electrical, Machine Repair, or Mechanical craft areas (a must-have).

8-10+ years of facility maintenance experience.

Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, temperature controls, and scavenge exhaust systems.

Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems like MAXIMO is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on third shift.

Pay Details: $43.83 per hour
