Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Pompano Beach, Florida
Description We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for customer service and dispatching duties. You will be working with a variety of systems, including an ERP system and an online portal for report building, which requires a degree of technical proficiency. This position is a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming customer inquiries and provide assistance in a detail oriented and efficient manner.
• Schedule appointments with customers for upcoming inspections and confirm their availability.
• Use Microsoft Excel for customer data management and order entry.
• Upload inspection reports into the online portal and ensure they are correctly entered into the system.
• Communicate with customers via email correspondence, inbound and outbound calls.
• Collaborate with the service manager and the team to ensure smooth coordination and dispatching.
• Regularly update customer records in the system and monitor their accounts.
• Generate tickets based on customer interactions and follow up on them as needed.
• Adapt to learning and working with an older ERP system, demonstrating tech-savviness.
• Ensure all customer service tasks are performed in compliance with the company's standards and protocols. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience in a call center customer service role.
• Strong customer service skills including problem-solving and relationship-building abilities.
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and promptly.
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, able to manage high volume effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing.
• Experience in order entry, ensuring accuracy and speed.
