HIRING 2ND SHIFT MEDICAL ASSEMBLY IN PLYMOUTH, MN
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assembler to join our team on the first shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling various medical devices using hand tools and microscopes in a clean room environment. This role requires excellent hand dexterity, the ability to learn complex processes quickly, and the capacity to maneuver small components and parts effectively.
Responsibilities
Assemble different medical devices using hand tools and microscopes.
Perform assembly tasks under a microscope.
Cross-train at different assembly stations.
Utilize blades, cutters, microscopes, and other tools as required.
Handle and maneuver small components and parts.
Work in a full clean room environment.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 6 months of experience in medical assembly or other forms of manufacturing/assembly.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent hand dexterity.
Ability to understand measurements with rulers and calipers.
Capability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
Strong organizational skills.
Willingness to work overtime.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous medical assembly experience preferred.
Stable work history in assembly or manufacturing.

Work Environment
This role is within a medical device company and requires working in a full clean room environment. Employees must adhere to strict cleanliness protocols, including wearing hair nets, gowns, booties, and washing hands before entering the cleanroom. The following are not permitted: nail polish, long fake nails, makeup, fragrances (perfume or cologne), henna tattoos, pants with holes, and open-toe shoes.
