Who we’re looking for

Voluntary Protection Products (VPP) is a significant contributor of profit to TFS and franchised dealers. TFS leverages reinsurance, to enhance dealer profitability, optimize risk management and improve capital efficiency while providing our franchised dealers and customers with competitive protection products.

Reporting to Senior Manager, VPP Dealer Programs, the Reinsurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and ongoing management of the reinsurance value stream. Key Responsibilities include managing the dealer enrollment process, ensuring accurate and timely monthly reporting, addressing inquiries from the dealer and field teams, and reviewing and approving transaction. This role requires a strategic and analytical approach to enhance programs, drive dealer engagement and support VPP objectives

What you’ll be doing

Reinsurance Program Development:

• Partner with reinsurance stakeholders both internal and external to ensure a best-in-class reinsurance program that maximizes the dealer experience

• Oversee implementation and continuous improvement of reinsurance value stream

Dealer Enrollment and Relationship Management:

• Develop and manage a robust dealer enrollment process. In addition, work with dealers, reinsurance companies, management companies, and/or field to obtain required formation documents

• Review and develop documents for compliance with TFS policies and draft

TFS legal documents

• Oversight on all enrollments through completion / system enrollment

Reporting:

• Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to internal and external stakeholders such as dealers, sales teams, finance and accounting

Dealer and Field Support:

• Serve as primary point of contact for dealers and field inquiries related to reinsurance

• Troubleshoot issues and work cross-functionally to resolve dealer or field concerns

• Facilitate training sessions and develop support materials as required

Approval and Compliance Oversight:

• Review documents for compliance with TFS policies and draft TFS legal documents. Review requests for compliance with TFS procedures

• Schedule payments in wiring system. Research ad hoc questions from reinsurance companies / field and provide analysis as required

Qualifications/ What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 4+ years of relevant/ progressive work experience (in similar field and/or industry)

• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills with a high attention to detail

• Strong written/oral communication skills

Added bonus if you have

• Advanced Degree: CPA or MBA preferred

• 5+ years of relevant/ progressive work experience (in similar field and/or industry)

• Background in reinsurance, accounting, finance, or data analysis including ability to understand various financial concepts

• Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Knowledge of Microsoft Access and Microsoft Power Apps

• Management/supervisory experience with strong people leader capabilities including coaching and accountability
