Job Description:

Senior level RedHat Linux System Administrator role (12 years+ experience) that performs triage of business impacted incidents, restores incidents to meet service level agreement. Duties include 9x5 incident (weekday/weekend) support, triage LEAPP upgrade failures, rollback of LEAPP upgrade. root cause analysis, and escalation of critical issues, execution of scheduled activities

• 12+ years of Hands-on experience supporting Red Hat Linux (6/7/8/9)

• Experience on supporting HP, Dell x86 hardware platform.

• Experience on supporting LEAPP in-place upgrade

• Strong experience in RedHat Linux System Administration, Hardware troubleshooting, configuration, and performance monitoring and tuning.

• Solid troubleshooting skills to triage with different technology partners.

• Good communication skills - audience centric and adjustment to different audience levels

• Understand SAN/NAS technology and experience to support server-side related issue.

• Understand TCP/IP and ability to troubleshoot latency or performance issue.

• RedHat Cluster Services Certification

• Experience managing a large global environment consisting of 55,000 or more

• Linux virtual servers.

• Understand and follow the ITIL incident/change/problem management process.

• Experience supporting LVM is a plus.

• Experience in supporting DMZ environment and familiar with IPsec

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $67.00/hr.
