Your Role at Raising Cane’s

The Director of Crew Support & Services leads the support and services functions within the Crew Resources department. This role directs and leads our Crew Support, Accommodations and Background Check teams and oversees the company’s 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Additionally, this position works directly with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders.

Your Impact and Responsibilities

  • Leads the Crew Support, Accommodations and Background Check teams, overseeing their development and performance

  • Provides best in class service and support to the crew and restaurants, ensuring the team provides swift action and resolution to all questions

  • Closely reviews all high-risk situations and provides guidance and leadership on resolutions

  • Oversees the case management for the Accommodations and Background Check teams, ensuring timely completion, appropriate resolution, consistent processes, and reduced risk for the company

  • Monitors support and service request volumes, ensuring timely follow-up and providing regular reporting to Crew Resources leadership

  • Identifies trends and opportunities within the team, implementing action plans and follow-up as appropriate

  • Cultivates strong partnerships within the Restaurant Support Office and operations leadership

  • Serves as a subject matter expert on federal, state and local employment, accommodations, and background check laws

  • Oversees and continues to evolve the Raising Cane’s Crew Care Fund, including program management, communications, donations, and distributions, ensuring compliance with 501(c)(3) regulations

  • Continuously reviews and improves all tools, technology, processes and communications to better support our restaurants

  • Manages vendor relationships and contracts with the background check provider

  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements for Success

  • 5+ years of direct experience providing human resources support to a large-scale, growth-oriented restaurant, customer, or retail organization

  • 3+ years of human resources leadership experience supporting large hourly non-exempt employee populations

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • SHRM certification, PHR or SPHR, preferred

  • Able to manage highly confidential information and maintain strict confidentiality in a time-sensitive manner

  • Exceptional people and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing

  • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to leverage and influence others, build, lead and motivate teams, and coach at any level

  • Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Word
