Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Data and Technology organization is seeking a driven and energetic Data & Risk Compliance Analyst to join our First Line of Defense Governance, Risk and Compliance team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with risk principles, IT risk and controls, and have a background in audit. This is a fantastic opportunity for self-starters looking to be part of a significant digital transformation within our Data and Technology department.

What you’ll be doing

This individual will play a critical role in supporting the development of new policies and overseeing essential process governance activities. You will be a major part of an exciting journey as we undergo a significant digital transformation.

• Support the development and implementation of new policies.

• Oversee and manage critical process governance activities.

• Identify and assess IT risks and controls and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Analyze data and generate comprehensive reports using tools like Excel or Power BI.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compliance and risk management initiatives.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with new technologies and methodologies.

• Manage projects through planning, execution, and reporting progress across various business levels.

• Work with cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment

What you bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• Working experience in IT Risk and Compliance

• Working experience with SOX ITGC’s policies, standards and controls

• Strong understanding of IT Systems and Infrastructure including networks, databases and hardware.

• Working proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel or Power BI

• Experience working with project management tools such as JIRA

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Added Bonus if you have

• Advanced Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

• Experience with COBIT/NIST or equivalent Cybersecurity Framework
