Responsible for advancing manufacturing automation via the microdispensing process. Position requires electrical, mechanical, chemical, physics, and mathematical skills for success in research, developmentand characterization of customized microdispensing processing used in Pharmaceutical, Electric Vehicles, Surface Mount Technologies, LED, Semiconductor, 3D Printing, Smarphones, Laptops and Computers. Position will supervise one technical support engineer. Job Duties:

• Read complex designs of substrates, components, equipment and manufacturing automation to design custom manufacturing equipment to be integrated into clients' manufacturing lines
• Select optimum Vermes microdispensing technology to meet clients' microdispensing needs
• Write proposals to clients regarding optimum Vermes microdispensing technology to meet clients' microdispensing needs
• Run testing on proposed Vermes microdispensing technology for clients and write reports on testing results
• Execute production simulation of the proposed Vermes microdispensing technology and write production simulation reports
• Communicate with robotics suppliers and develop methods to integrate Vermes microdispensing technology into clients' existing manufacturing lines
• Write cost analysis on Vermes microdispensing technology for clients
• Travel to client sites to assist client with integrating Vermes microdispensing technology into clients' manufacturing lines.
• Train clients on operation and maintenance of Vermes microdispensing technology
• Provide on-going technical support to clients through email, phone calls and if necessary, on-site visits
• Identify clients' need for microdispensing application materials and select the optimum material for the clients; if an optimum material does not exist, communicate with manufacturers to create a new material to serve clients' needs
• Test Vermes nozzles and tapet(s) to find best pairing with Vermes valves to optimize manufacturing process
• Document all testing of Vermes microdispensing technology and create reports for Vermes and clients
• Operate, program and troubleshoot advanced robotics systems
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced lab instruments, such as curing equipment, UV torch, UV equipment, heating equipment, curing ovens and curing lamps.
• Develop adaptive customized process of advanced robotic systems to meet customer needs.
• When confronted with issues in microdispensing technology, develop new products to provide solutions
• Some overnight travel to client worksites required.
