What to Expect Schedule: Days 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM no weekends (does rotate on call)

We are hiring a manager to oversee our Transfusion Services Lab located in the following hospitals:

UPMC Jameson, UPMC Horizon Greenville, UPMC Horizon Shenango, UPMC Passavant, and UPMC Cranberry

As a manager you will:  * Act as l iasion with hospital business partners assigned.  * Manage Vitalant Transfusion labs assigned.  * Enhance our collaborative teamwork and supportive culture within our laboratories and hospital partners.

Requirements Education  * Bachelor's degree -Medical Laboratory Science or other hard science required.  * Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS, MT, SBB, BB) via certifying agency (i.e. ASCP) required.

Experience: Five years laboratory experience required. To include:  * Two years supervisor experience required.  * Blood bank experience preferred.
