Assistant Director, Principal Giving Donor Engagement
The Division of Philanthropic & Alumni Engagement PAE at the University of Pittsburgh is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships with donors, alumni, and stakeholders, supporting the Universitys mission in education, research, and healthcare. In this role, you will serve as the integral part within PAEs Office of the Vice Chancellors department, reporting to the Senior Director, Principal Giving and Campaign Initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate strategy and logistics for the Pittsburgh Speakers Series PSS eventsDevelop a programmatic calendar aligned with university strategic philanthropic prioritiesManage event logistics and collaborate with the PAE Events team and Cambridge Speakers SeriesAssist in managing principal giving donor experiences, including celebrations, namings, and milestone eventsDraft and manage approval processes for briefings, itineraries, and other key documentsMaintain detailed reports and records, including attendee solicitation and registrationPartner with the Principal Giving team for personalized donor engagement and strategic interactionsManage special projects related to the Chancellor and Office of the Chancellor OTC

Job Summary
Oversees all aspects of planning, design, and execution of multiple, small routine projects or a moderately complex project. Assists in developing timelines and ensures adherence to deadlines. Manages financial aspects of projects and other administrative duties. Handles external correspondence and drafts reports and other communications.

Moderate physical effort is required, including standing and moving for several hours at a time. You may also need to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without the assistance of equipment.
