Job Description

A client in the financial technology industry is seeking a Golang Engineer to join its One Identity team. The Engineer's responsibilities include working to build out and enhance the client's current framework to support new business requirements, collaborating with application teams to troubleshoot complex development problems, collaborating with architects and business analysts on the design of new solutions, collaborating with operations in the resolution of production incidents, and evangelizing application teams on the adoption of best practices and tools. To successfully accomplish that, the Senior Engineer must quickly acquire a deep knowledge of a variety of complex distributed systems and the interactions between them. A high level of technical and communication skills, as well as personal responsibility, autonomy and prioritization skills are required. A significant number of the following skills must be mastered at a high level to succeed in the role: Golang, Java, Spring boot, JPA, JMS, SLF4j, servlet, dependency injection, microservices architecture, twelve factor app, test driven development, object oriented design, technical documentation, agile development, restful APIs, distributed systems, enterprise integration patterns, log analysis, Splunk, AppDynamics, Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Apigee, Linux, Cassandra, MongoDB, DB2, Oracle, IBM MQ, WebSphere Liberty, Apache http server, Jenkins pipelines, bash scripting, groovy scripting, ansible, security scans (Fortify, Sonatype, Webinspect), encryption (Voltage, AES), SSL.

Pay for this role is $45-56.67/hr

Skills and Requirements

Good knowledge of Golang

Java fundamental knowledge

Experience defining and building microservices architecture

Strong knowledge of security concepts over microservice architecture

Knowledge of Git

Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)

Build tool knowledge, such as Maven

Experience with Spring boot

Knowledge of Cloud environment null
