Unilever HR Trainee in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Role Overview:

People agenda sits in the heart of the organization. To ensure organization effectiveness, activities that support employees’ daily operation are crucial. With that, speed and perfect execution are a MUST. This is to guarantee employees will be provided full support and strengthen workplace relations.

HR Trainee will focus on:

  • Implementing Learning and Development agenda

  • Implementing Employee Engagement and Wellbeing activities

  • Executing ED&I activities

  • Driving employer brand activities.

Details Responsibilities

1). Learning and Development

  • Work closely with LD Expertise to manage best quality execution, monitoring and evaluation of LD activities in Cambodia.

  • Responsible for supporting the development program based on LD Expertise request.

  • Responsible for supporting the UFLP program for graduates based on LD Expertise request.

  • Maintain and develop On-boarding program in Cambodia

2). Employee Engagement & Well-being

  • Responsible for the maintaining good relations with employees.

  • Lead and coordinate company events, meetings, and activities related to HR.

  • Monitor relationship between management and employees and recommend initiatives for improvement.

  • Promote and initiate people’s health and wellbeing activities toward 4 well-being elements namely physical, mental, emotional and purposeful well-being.

3). Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

  • Work closely with Global, Regional ED&I Lead to identify and implement relevant ED&I activities in Cambodia following global guideline and principle.

  • Monitor challenges and opportunities in the organization and recommends initiative to promote ED&I agenda in the company.

  • Identify external trends and recognize best practice which will increase diversity among the workforces.

  • Prepare and building relationships among colleagues through diversity and inclusion training & awareness raising activities.

4). Employer Brand

  • Responsible for the Employer Brand execution in Cambodia under close supervision from EB lead.

  • Work closely with Regional, Global EB expert on detailed agenda to ensure that EB activities are in line with regional and Global Employer Brand guidelines/strategy and business needs in Cambodia.

  • Work closely with External Affairs & Communications team for all external contacts/communication within Attraction in CR: Media Agencies, Student Initiatives, Fairs, Workshops and cases studies.

  • Key interface for all relevant parties involved in execution of EB in Cambodia.

Key Skills and Qualification

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in any field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong project management skill.

  • Outspoken and comfortable to work with people.

  • Good at decision making and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in related field is an advantage.
