Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC) has an outstanding opportunity for a Technical Assistant to join the MRI team and work alongside some of the best medical providers in Philadelphia.

Summary:
Assist technologist with the flow of the day.
Anticipates and resolves scheduling conflicts/patient delays.
Schedule transport for patients coming and leaving the department.
Turnover exam rooms efficiently. This includes, escorting the patient out of the room, cleaning the room, preparing theroom for the next patient and bringing the next patient to the room.
Answer calls in the control room or from designated cell phone.
Always be professional when working with patients, staff, or when communicating using a phone or email.
Change linen in the area as needed.
Stock supplies for exam room and storage rooms.
Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent level of education
CPR/BLS Certification at the time of hire or within 6 months of hire.
Typing and computer skills required
Working knowledge of MS Office including proficiency in email
