University City Housing (UCH) is a Philadelphia-based firm that buys, renovates, maintains and manages real estate for long-term investment. UCH's Roxborough, PA collection, Summit Park Communities is comprised of four apartment communities: Summit Park, Summit Gardens, Valley High, and Woodmere . UCH is seeking a motivated and outgoing Clubhouse General Manager to work in our fast-paced, full-service Clubhouse located in the heart of Summit Park (www.summitphilly.com). We encourage our residents to ‘Have Fun Where You Live’ and this role is critical in ensuring they can do just that!

The Clubhouse General Manager position demands an organized, adaptable, and dedicated individual with proven management and communication skills. The position of Clubhouse General Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the Clubhouse facility, while striving to provide a welcoming and exciting venue for our residents to enjoy and visit often! 

Clubhouse General Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

•    Manage the bar, restaurant, fitness center, outdoor pools, indoor pool as well as all Clubhouse-related employees and vendors

•    Manage all day-to-day operations

•    Oversee the Clubhouse Activities Director to ensure success of daily events, resident satisfaction, and brand awareness

•    Hiring and management of all seasonal and part-time employees included but not limited to lifeguards, bartenders, chefs, gatekeepers, etc.

•    Exhibit and ensure exceptional customer service at all levels of the operation

•    Inventory control & record maintenance

•    Maintain compliance with state and local regulations

•    Oversee and implement policies and procedures; create new ones as needed

•    Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary

Clubhouse General Manager Qualifications Required:

•    Valid Driver's License and vehicle

•    Strong written and oral communication

•    Employee management experience

•    2-3 years of Food and Beverage experience 

•    Event Planning experience 

•    College degree preferred 

•    RAMP and ServSafe Certified a plus

•    Microsoft Office experience

•    Energetic, creative, outgoing, highly organized

•    Ability to maintain confidential information

•    Ability to work full time, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
