The Peru Central School District expects to appoint an individual to the following position for the 2024 - 2025 school year:

1.0 FTE Registered Nurse (RN)

Anticipated Assignment:

-PK-12, Districtwide

Responsibilities May Include:

-Work with students with special needs - Oversee school health policies and programs -Provide expertise and oversight for the provision of school health services and promotion of health education -Use clinical knowledge and judgment to provide health care -Perform health screenings and coordinate referrals to the medical home or private healthcare provider -Serve as a liaison between school personnel, family, community and healthcare providers to advocate for healthcare and healthy school environment -Administer medications and services as per doctors prescription -Assist students and staff with basic hygiene, feeding, and toileting of students -Other duties per contract

Compensation:

-$52,278 - $99,352- commensurate with qualifications and experience
