Purpose: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for first and foremost, always conducting his/her work in a safe manner. The Maintenance Manager's role is to improve maintenance work productivity and quality by anticipating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance resources, parts, materials, and equipment access. Schedule: 40 hours/week, hourly. Essential Duties: Detailed Job Planning, including all trades required to perform a job. Developing work order instructions, including estimated materials, tools, and labor to perform the job. Meet with suppliers, vendors, and contractors in the field for pre-planning job discussions. Develop Preventative Maintenance plans and setup schedules with the CMMS. Ensure PM plans are being followed, documented, and understood. Develop and maintenance spare parts in CMMS and in the field, including field verification of spare parts. Assist in staging of spare parts, tools and equipment when received. Planning and scheduling for shutdowns, including Gantt charts and critical path analysis. Responsible for maintaining department KPIs and manage work order backlog. Supervise maintenance work during a shutdown. Administrative functions including records in CMMS, paper copies, purchase orders, invoicing, and budgetary preparation. Familiar with layout, sketching, fab, welding, insulating, and installing of structural and piping systems. Adhere to all corporate policies and standards. Other Duties Keep the General Manager informed of deviations from maintenance schedules. Other duties as assigned by management. Specific Skills Repair and maintain equipment in an industrial/refinery setting, able to troubleshoot mechanical problems, able to work independently. Safe working experience. Strong Mathematical and Mechanically reasoning ability. The ability to work in team-based environment. Attention to detail. Good communication skills. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Ability to learn new computer software. Work Experience 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance repair in Chemical Plant or Refinery. Knowledge of Rotating Equipment Maintenance preferred. Maintenance Planner experience preferred. Education, Certificates, Licenses, Designations or Memberships High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational training preferred. Experience in chemical processing environment preferred. Personal Protective Equipment Steel toe boots, Safety Glasses, Hard Hat, Respirator, FRC.
