Senior Accountant

Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing

• Seasoned, experienced professional with full understanding of accounting principles with the ability to evaluate complex transactions and perform complex reconciliations.

• Responsible for period-end closing activities and maintain the accurate records of financial transactions.

• Monitors budgets and supports financial performance reporting.

• Prepares and performs plausibility checks on Balance Sheet and P&L schedules.

• Enforces policies and procedures.

• Drives process refinement and automation.

• Supports internal customers, develops relationships with various business groups. Has the ability to explain processes and recommending actions to business team.

• Liaises with auditors, banks and regulatory bodies as required.

• Manages tax and statutory filings (e.g. eInvoice/ROC/SST/WHT/Corporate Tax).

• Supports Treasury matters (e.g. Cash flow forecast, FX Report etc).

• Supports internal, statutory and SOX audit and related matters.

• Liaises with corporate secretary and/or support Legal department in the preparation of annual returns, resolutions and other corporate secretarial matters.

• Handles ad hoc assignments and projects as and when required.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ; CPA preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit roles.

• Proficiency in in managing complex processes, problem- solving and improvements.

• Research accounting and tax related literature as required.

• Continuous resilient learner, capable of independent operation and adapting in a dynamic environment.

• Preferably with MNC experience and regional exposure.

• Knowledge of Oracle, ERP, SAP, and Blackline systems is advantageous.
