Robert Half Sales Support Specialist in Peachtree City, Georgia

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Credit Clerk in Peachtree City, Georgia. The job function lies within the realm of Sales Support, where you will be tasked with processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain good customer relations, ensuring prompt, world-class service for our existing customer base

• Follow up on missed sales opportunities, promoting products and providing quote responses

• Review and maintain long term contract agreements

• Provide technical information to customers regarding credit applications and process

• Regularly communicate with Regional Account Director for senior level visits

• Emphasize product features based on analysis of customer’s needs

• Coordinate with other departments within the organization to achieve sales targets

• Participate in new hire training for the Sales Support team

• Maintain customer profiles in a specific database

• Research products and have a fundamental understanding of their technical use

• Assist in collections as needed

• Understand contracts and pursue both Purchasing and Development

• Assist in writing contracts and provide input where necessary

• Display good phone etiquette for customer interactions. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales support role or similar position

• Strong customer service skills are essential

• Proficiency in using various office software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases

• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with diverse groups of people

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong problem-solving capabilities

• Proven ability to multi-task and manage time effectively

• High level of professionalism and ethical standards

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
