Job Summary

As an IT Administrator on the Client Services team, you will work as a member of the IT desktop support engineers and help shape the IT user experience across the Comcast Enterprise. The Client Services team is responsible for providing technical expertise to all HQ employees with their IT needs in using supported hardware and software products. We are a team that enables the business to create and innovate exciting new products.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a strong customer service and responsiveness culture in the Client Services department.

  • Workstation procurement, installation, and connectivity

  • Software configuration

  • User profile updates, backups, and general enterprise computing

  • Research new/emerging technologies.

  • Tests, implements, and documents policies and procedures.

  • Identifies and resolves complex issues.

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Job Specification

  • The Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience supporting the following technologies: Desktop Operating Systems, Desktop/Laptop hardware, mobile phone hardware and software, printers

  • 2-4 years of technical support experience.

  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team

  • Amenable to work in early morning shift for the first 6 months (shift rotation every 6 months)

    Who does the IT Administrator work with?

    The IT Administrator works with a team of approximately 45 techs across 14 sites, either directly onsite or remotely. In this role, you support our internal Comcast user community across many areas (remote and local) with their hardware and software needs.

    Technical Skill Sets:

  • Windows 10/11

  • Dell shop

  • MacOS (need someone very efficient; office is a heavy Mac environment)

  • Jamf (ability to navigate; understand logs)

  • Microsoft Azure (now known as Entra)

  • (ability to navigate; understand logs)

  • Autopilot

  • Office 365

  • Sharepoint/OneDrive guidance (sharing/permissions)

  • Printer support

  • Basic networking troubleshooting

  • patching data ports to switches

  • TCP/IP, DHCP vs Static

  • Conference room troubleshooting

  • Audio/Visual needs

  • Work with AV team to troubleshoot MTRs

  • Ability to navigate and understand our knowledge articles to assist with troubleshooting when additional assistance is required

  • Smarthands (Local Hands)

  • AV team escalations to local integrators

  • Sys admin support - troubleshooting applications

  • Escort vendors to areas within the building

  • Ability to navigate, understand, and support the local culture (requests/needs/issues) without over-compromising. Make sure you are staying between the lines of our procedures/guidelines within the CS

  • Work independently
