About the Role: JAVAD GNSS Inc is hiring a Senior GNSS Software Engineer to join our core Navigation team. In this role, you will drive the architecture, design, and validation of embedded software for state-of-the-art GNSS navigation, integrating RTK positioning with sensors like IMUs, magnetometers, and cameras. This is an opportunity to design next-generation Navigation Engines optimized for embedded platforms, using Matlab and C++.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the authority on GNSS firmware and sensor fusion, defining and implementing Navigation Engine architecture.
- Lead the development of software for computing precise positions, velocity, and orientation with integrated sensors.
- Design flexible, modular object-oriented software with efficiency, supporting continuous improvement in development methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: 5+ years in GNSS & RTK firmware development, with strong C/C++ programming skills and familiarity with modern C++ libraries.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in GNSS, INS, navigation algorithms, and embedded software (memory management, real-time OS) along with development tools (git, Jenkins/GitLab).
- Preferred: Experience with GNSS + INS integration and geomatics applications.
