Job Title: Junior Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Junior Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing construction drawings for commercial architecture using REVIT. You will be responsible for coordinating with clients and other trades as needed, and occasionally traveling for site visits. This role offers significant growth opportunities and the potential for partnership for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings for commercial architecture using REVIT.

• Coordinate with clients and other trades as necessary.

• Perform occasional travel for site visits.

• Produce full sets of construction documents and floor plans independently.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using REVIT.

• Ability to produce full sets of construction drawings and floor plans.

• Experience in commercial architecture, particularly with supermarkets and big box retail stores.

• 3-5 years of architectural experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture is preferred.

• Experience with drafting, design, construction documents, and redlining.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Work Environment

The main office is located in Northern NJ, and consists of approximately 20 employees. The firm specializes in commercial projects, with notable clients including Walmart, CVS, and Trader Joe's. The work environment is fast-paced, handling up to 50 projects at a time. The company is phasing out residential projects to focus on the growing demand for commercial work. The dress code is business casual, and the team is collaborative and supportive.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr.
