POSITION: Assistant Slot Manager

SCHEDULE: Full Time

SUMMARY:

Assist in the day to day operations and direct supervision of all activities within the Slot Department across all Pahrump Properties. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or team member challenges.

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Two years slot leadership experience

• Positive attitude with team building skills and ability to provide constructive feedback

• Proven experience providing high level of guest service

• Computer skills including Microsoft Office

• • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system

• 21 years or older

• High School Education or Equivalent

• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

• Verify right to work in the United States

• Assist in the hiring, training, evaluation, development, and disciplining of departmental employees
• Act as a liaison, as necessary, between line staff and departmental leadership to ensure leadership is aware of any challenges with job performance, staffing levels, and/or job tasks
• Address any guest concerns by providing guest service recovery
• Assist in management of MODs(Slot Shift Managers) ensuring they are held accountable and recognized for positive contributions.
• Assist in establishing standards of service
• Assist in management of labor within the department ensuring proper schedule coverage based on business demand
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the companys guest service culture standards

• Frequently push/pull up to 25lbs
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 25lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
• Frequently squat, kneel, bend, and reach
• Regularly sit and work at a desk or computer
• Regularly stand or walking
• Constant use of hearing and vision, distinguish between shades of color, and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
• Ability to move throughout the property
• Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail
• Communicate via radios
