Site Material Logistics Professional at Siemens Mobility

Siemens Mobility is seeking a motivated and skilled Site Material Logistics Professional to join our team and manage our external warehouses in Norway. This is your chance to be a key player in ensuring the smooth flow of spare parts across the country, contributing to the efficiency and success of our operations.

What you'll do:

• Serve as the main point of contact between Siemens and our third-party warehouse provider, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

• Oversee the commercial aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring cost-effective and efficient processes.

• Support the development and enhancement of warehousing processes, implementing innovative solutions for continuous improvement.

• Organize warehouse visits, manage return shipments, and handle equipment rework across various projects.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and manage any deviations in in- and outbound shipments and storage.

• Implement Siemens' HSE standards in the warehouse and follow up on quality-related issues, including audit findings.

What we’re looking for:

• A degree in supply chain management (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent work experience.

• A solid track record in warehouse management, with hands-on experience in process development and improvement.

• Willingness to travel, including weekly day trips to our central warehouse in the greater Oslo area and visits to regional warehouses as needed.

• A valid driver’s license (class B) is required to facilitate your travels between locations
