Position: Special Education Paraprofessional (Part-Time)

Location: Orofino Elementary School

Job Summary: Primary responsibility to Special Education Teacher and/or Classroom Teacher,

Principal and/or Special Education Director. Assists the teacher in achieving the

goals and objectives as stated on each childs current Individual Education Plan

(IEP) through individual, small group, or whole group instruction. The schedule

is four hours per day, four days per week (Monday through Thursday).

Minimum qualifications: Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must have or be

able to get CPR/First Aid Certified. Applicants must have accumulated thirty two

college credits or be able to pass the Paraprofessional Praxis exam. Must be able

to lift fifty pounds. Selected applicant must be able to pass a criminal

background check and drug testing.

Salary: \$15.92 per hour

Benefits: This is a part-time non-benefitted position.
