This role is ideal for a CPA with corporate accounting experience in health & wellness, nutraceuticals, or pharmaceuticals who thrives in leadership and process improvement.

  • Compensation: $165,000 - $170,000 + 10% bonus potential

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 1 flex day, 1 remote day)

  • Must be open to transitioning to full-time onsite work in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K), coordinating with auditors, Disclosure Committee, and Audit Committee.

  • Prepare SEC filings (Forms 3, 4, 8-K, Proxy Statement) and collaborate with legal teams on registration statements (S-3, S-8).

  • Lead accounting for complex areas including leases, debt, equity compensation, goodwill, and warrants.

  • Oversee internal controls, audits, and SOX compliance.

  • Manage equity administration, tracking grants, exercises, vesting, and share reserves.

  • Coordinate tax provisions with external partners.

  • Assist in implementing inventory and revenue accounting for commercial launch.

  • Support system implementation and process improvements to enhance financial reporting.

  • Review ASC 842, debt/equity entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.

  • Contribute to external audits, financial statements, and SEC disclosures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience with SEC reporting and compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and internal control frameworks.

  • Proficient in Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP systems.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.

  • Experience in a public company or Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
