Warehouse Associate

Description : If you have experience in warehouse/order selecting and you're looking for a new position ASAP, then this is the position for you.

A company in Omaha, Nebraska, is looking for experienced Material Handlers to join their team. Candidates will be responsible for operating an overhead crane to move bundles of steel onto flatbed trucks or railcars. Prior experience is not required, and on-the-job training is offered.

Skills:

• 1+ years prior warehouse/order selecting experience

• Proficiency in material handling

• Ability to lift 75 pounds consistently

• Capability to work under minimal supervision

• Pass the tape measure/metric measure test

Experience Level : Entry-Expert Level (general labor experience, construction, and warehouse production experience are advantages)

Location:On-site at 8635 Military Rd, Omaha, Nebraska, 68134-1844, United States

Pay :Depending on experience

Shift:

• Mon – Fri.

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM ($18/hr)

• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM ($20/hr)

Work Environment:The work environment is a large recycling plant with cardboard and paper covering the warehouse floors. The facility is not climate-controlled, so it can be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, although forklifts are equipped with heaters and will have air conditioning by September. Employees are required to wear jeans and steel-toed boots at all times. The work is physically demanding and requires the ability to handle extreme temperatures.
