Unit Description
Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager - Patient Services at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE. The Patient Services Manager will direct and manage the evening Patient Feeding operations and lead, mentor and develop a team of frontline staff. This strategic Food Operations Manager will report to the Patient Services Director and will join a team of additional operational leaders.

Schedule is primarily Monday-Friday / 11am-8pm with weekend rotation once every 1-2 months.
The successful candidate will:
lead the daily operations of patient room service dining program
coordinate the department’s safety programs
ensure operating standards meet and exceed benchmarks
manage, schedule and train frontline team and supervisors
We are looking for candidates who have:
a proven background as a collaborative leader in a commercial healthcare kitchen environment (seniors, hospitals, healthcare, etc.)
natural ability to build teams and foster engagement
a background as a Registered Dietitian (RD), Dietetic Technician, and/or Certified Dietary Manager is a plus, but not required

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
