Nexeo has NIGHT shift PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE spots in the Brigham Area. The Production Associate is responsible for safely operating multiple machines simultaneously and performing various tasks related to the production of airbag inflators or their components. The role ensures the production of high-quality products for delivery to customers and includes maintaining a clean work area and training others as needed. This is a rotating schedule working 7 days then 2 days off.

Responsibilities

   Operate several machines at once in the production of airbag inflators or their components.

   Ensure the production of quality products for customer delivery.

   Maintain a clean and organized work area.

   Train and instruct other team members as required.

   Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

   Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

   Perform tasks quickly to meet customer demand.

   Work well in a team environment and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

   Perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of machines.

   Handle and work with pyrotechnic materials safely.

   Monitor computer screens and detect production defects visually.

Qualifications

   Good history of consistent attendance with the ability to work overtime.

   Effective communication skills.

   Physical ability to perform continuous repetitive motions and handle weights up to 30 lbs.

   Ability to read and write in English and perform simple math calculations.

   Understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures.

   Ability to complete necessary company paperwork accurately.

   Problem-solving skills and ability to implement continuous improvement ideas.

   Ability to work in close proximity with others and handle explosive chemicals safely.

   Ability to visually detect production defects and identify color-coded indicators.

   Ability to interact with and monitor computer screens located at a height of 68 to 72 inches above the ground.

   Must hold a Green Card or U.S. Citizenship (Compliance with ATF rules).

   Previous experience in production for at least one year.

   Proficient in English (spoken and written).

Pay

$21.06 Per Hour

9:45pm - 6:00am | Rotating days worked |Working 7 days on 2 days off |
