Responsibilities:
Junior level:
Assists in managing the organization's operational security for IT programs and activities
Monitor and report on violations in security policy
Contribute to recommendations for changes to security policy for executive management review
Apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures to technical assignments
Help ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data
Support the implementation of information assurance best practices
Assist in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans
Contribute to incident response and security event analysis
Help develop and maintain security documentation
Intermediate:
Manage the organization's operational security for IT programs and activities
Monitor and report on violations in security policy
Analyze security incidents and recommend changes to security policy to executive management
Apply and improve upon fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures in technical assignments
Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data
Implement and maintain information assurance best practices
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans
Lead incident response efforts and perform in-depth security event analysis
Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
Senior:
Lead and oversee the organization's operational security for IT programs and activities
Develop and implement comprehensive security monitoring systems
Analyze complex security incidents and provide detailed reports on violations in security policy
Recommend and drive changes to security policy at the executive management level
Apply advanced concepts, processes, practices, and procedures to technical assignments •
Ensure the highest level of security and integrity for IT systems and data •
Design and implement cutting-edge information assurance practices •
Lead and conduct thorough security assessments and vulnerability scans
Manage incident response teams and oversee security event analysis
Develop and maintain high-level security documentation and strategies
Mentor junior and intermediate team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures across the organization
Subject Matter Expert/SME:
Serve as the ultimate authority on information assurance within the organization
Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive operational security strategies for IT programs and activities
Design and manage advanced monitoring systems to detect and report on security policy violations
Provide expert analysis and recommendations to executive management on security policy changes and enhancements
Apply and evolve cutting-edge concepts, processes, practices, and procedures to complex technical assignments
Ensure the highest level of security and integrity for IT systems and data across the organization
Lead the development and implementation of next-generation information assurance practices
Conduct and oversee high-level security assessments, audits, and risk analyses
Direct incident response strategies and lead critical security event investigations
Develop enterprise-wide security architectures and roadmaps
Mentor and develop IA teams across the organization
Collaborate with C-level executives to align security strategies with business objectives
Represent CACI as a thought leader in information assurance at industry conferences and forums
Qualifications:
Required:
Junior:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
0-3 years of experience in information assurance or cybersecurity
US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance, when needed
Basic knowledge of information security principles and best practices
Familiarity with common security tools and technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Intermediate:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
3-8 years of experience in information assurance or cybersecurity
US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance, when needed
Strong knowledge of information security principles, frameworks, and best practices
Proficiency with a range of security tools and technologies
Experience in security policy development and implementation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Senior:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
8-11 years of progressive experience in information assurance or cybersecurity
US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance, when needed
Expert knowledge of information security principles, frameworks, and best practices
Proven track record of managing complex security projects and initiatives
Experience in developing and implementing organization-wide security policies
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Subject Matter Expert/SME:
Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
12+ years of extensive experience in information assurance or cybersecurity, with a significant portion in leadership roles
US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance, when needed
Demonstrated expertise in managing enterprise-level security programs and initiatives
In-depth knowledge of current and emerging threats, security technologies, and best practices
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization
Desired:
Junior:
Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP Associate)
Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity framework
Knowledge of federal information security regulations and standards
Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools
Intermediate:
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM)
Experience with NIST cybersecurity framework and other federal standards
Familiarity with cloud security concepts and practices
Knowledge of DevSecOps principles
Experience in a government or defense contracting environment
Senior:
Master's degree in a related field
Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC)
Experience with NIST SP 800 series, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards • Knowledge of emerging technologies and their security implications (e.g., AI, IoT)
Experience in government or defense sector cybersecurity
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., CMMC, HIPAA, GDPR)
Subject Matter Expert/SME:
Ph.D. in a related field
Multiple advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CAP)
Experience in government, defense, or critical infrastructure sectors
Published works or speaking engagements related to information assurance
Expertise in integrating security with emerging technologies (e.g., AI, quantum computing, IoT)
Experience with international security standards and regulations

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$68,400-$143,700
