Citadel Drilling Administrator-Human Resources in Odessa, Texas
The Administrator - Human Resources will support team members and leaders in the execution of Human Resource programs and administration. Important areas of participation will include front-line recruitment, training, and travel coordination, coupled with administration support. This position will alternate with the HR Coordinator - Canada to provide on-call services on weekends.
Key Accountabilities:
Provides front-line recruitment support for all Field Tech positions for Citadel. Responsible for maintaining an electronic applicant tracking system and screening resumes for high-potential candidates.
Coordinates pre-employment testing requirements and processes employment verifications such as reference checks, background checks, and E-verify.
Ensures all employee information is tracked, maintained, and updated accurately and timely in the HRIS system.
Helps coordinate U.S. benefit open enrollment.
Coordinates all logistics for U.S. benefit open enrollment.
Maintains and updates employee training records (including training hours on a spreadsheet for payroll), monitors certificate expiration dates and proactively works with employees to complete prior to expiry.
Schedules and conducts onboarding for new hires, and keeps track of orientation dates for payroll.
8. Cross-training with HR Coordinator - Canada for recruitment, travel, and shift coverage.
9. On-call rotation for weekend coverage.
10. Work closely with the Payroll/Benefits Coordinator to ensure employee status changes are recorded and submitted for an update in a timely manner.
11. Provides other assistance as required.
Competencies and Requirements:
Preferred post-secondary or equivalent experience.
3 - 5 years of general office administrative experience.
1 -3 years of industry-related experience.
Recruiting and /or Human Resources experience is an asset.
Exceptional Microsoft Office and computer experience required.
Must enjoy working in a fast pace result-orientated environment.
Individual must be a self-starter with a proactive approach to any given task.
