Description

We are looking for an experienced and creative UX Designer to join our client's team in O'Fallon, MO! Working on a project basis, our successful candidate will have the chance to create rich and engaging user experiences for mobile apps within a dedicated two-week project timeline.

The UX Designer will have the freedom to shape the app design from initial storyboarding to high-fidelity prototypes, ensuring the interface is highly functional and intuitive. Please note, this is a true consulting opportunity and there may be periods of one to two weeks downtime between projects. We and our client aim to keep our team busy, but there could be intermittent gaps depending on the flow of work.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding project requirements and goals (business, technical, aesthetic).

• Mapping and planning user journeys through storyboards.

• Building wireframes and prototypes to conceptualize design.

• Collaborating with the project team to ensure a consistent and efficient user journey.

• Creating high fidelity prototypes of the app and executing UI design.

• Seamlessly integrating function and design elements, balancing technical functionality, and visual elements.

• Periodically carrying out user testing and integrating feedback to ensure the final design meets user needs.

  Requirements

Skills/Qualifications:

• Proven UX design experience with a strong portfolio of design projects (5+ years).

• Excellent understanding of user-experience design for mobile and the web.

• Proficient in design software (Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, Figma etc.).

• Strong communication, design, and creative thinking ability.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
