Overview
To provide and oversee the provision of clinical services within a community based school (PS 195x) as part of the community school initiative.

Responsibilities
Provide individual and group therapy to students in a school setting.
Provide crisis management and ongoing therapeutic support to allow students to remain in the classroom to achieve maximal learning.
Provide clinical supervision to social work interns.
Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and guidance personnel to plan for students with exceptional behavioral or emotional needs.
Make outside mental health referrals for students and/or their family members and collaborate with families to ensure compliance with these appointments.
Complete monthly mental health reports on services provided.
Performs other related work as assigned by the Community School Director.
Qualifications
MSW (Required)
Experience working with diverse behavioral/emotional/developmental issues preferred.
Experience with EBMs a plus.
Excellent organizational/communication skills.
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Annual Salary $60,000.00
