To provide and oversee the provision of clinical services within a community based school (PS 195x) as part of the community school initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to students in a school setting.

• Provide crisis management and ongoing therapeutic support to allow students to remain in the classroom to achieve maximal learning.

• Provide clinical supervision to social work interns.

• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and guidance personnel to plan for students with exceptional behavioral or emotional needs.

• Make outside mental health referrals for students and/or their family members and collaborate with families to ensure compliance with these appointments.

• Complete monthly mental health reports on services provided.

• Performs other related work as assigned by the Community School Director.

Qualifications

• MSW (Required)

• Experience working with diverse behavioral/emotional/developmental issues preferred.

• Experience with EBMs a plus.

• Excellent organizational/communication skills.

• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

• Annual Salary $60,000.00
