We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an overnight Bilingual Customer Service Representative in Norwalk, Connecticut. This role lies within the telecom provider industry and will be primarily based in a call center environment. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional service and support to our customers in both Spanish and English, navigating through various communication channels, and resolving customer issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries in both Spanish and English, providing information about products, services, and policies

• Assist customers with order placement, shipment tracking, return processing, and resolving product-related issues

• Identify and address customer concerns, troubleshoot problems, and offer effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues and escalate problems as needed

• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, chat, and other communication channels in both languages

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback

• Update customer profiles and databases with relevant information

• Stay informed about product features, updates, and changes to provide accurate information to customers

• Collaborate with the product or service team to continuously improve knowledge and understanding

• Act as a language resource within the team, supporting colleagues with translation and interpretation when necessary

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and contribute to the development of best practices for customer service.

This role requires skills in Call Center Customer Service and experience in an Inbound Call Center. Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is a must. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment is also crucial for this role.

Requirements • Must have previous experience in a customer service role

• Proficiency in handling inbound calls and providing effective solutions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must have strong problem-solving abilities

• Familiarity with customer service software, databases, and tools

• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm

• Must be capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated

• Must have knowledge of industry’s latest technology trends and applications

• Ability to work in a team and build positive relationships

• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

• Patience and active listening skills

• Ability to handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, and follow up to ensure resolution

• Must be comfortable using computers and office equipment.
