A charter school located in North Ogden, Utah, is now accepting applications for a secondary teacher.

The mission of Maria Montessori Academy is to provide an individualized Pre-K through Grade 9 education that promotes academic excellence founded on the authentic philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. MMA will craft each child's education in partnership with educators and parents to achieve higher levels of academic, personal and social achievement, thereby preparing students to become constructive contributors to their community.

Qualified applicants will have a valid Utah education teaching license. Candidates who hold certifications or endorsements to teach multiple subjects are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior teaching experience is preferred. In support of this mission, preference may be given to candidates who have previous Montessori teaching experience, hold Montessori certification, and/or are willing to undergo training to become Montessori certified. Experience working with an assistant teacher is also preferred.
