Job Title: Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We have an immediate needs for 2nd Shift Material Handlers (3:30pm - 12am) at an expanding facility on Palmetto Commerce Pkwy.. The ideal candidate will have previous material handling, shipping, and receiving experience. This position requires the ability to read a tape measure for pulling materials and the operation of various types of forklifts and pallet jacks. Inventory and previous logistics experience are highly desirable. The role involves following shipping schedules, staging materials ready to ship, and heavy lifting and general labor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read a tape measure for pulling materials

• Operate various types of forklifts and pallet jacks

• Follow shipping schedules and stage materials ready to ship

• Stage products within specific areas based on drawings

• Perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks

• Handle inventory control and logistics

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using measuring tools

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes

• Inventory management skills

• Ability to follow shipping schedules

• Experience in staging products

• Forklift operation skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Combilift is preferred but not required

• Proficiency in using a tape measure

• Material handling expertise
