Description

Our client is in search of a Finance Manager to support our team on a contract basis! In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing various accounting functions, managing the general ledger, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of grant reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Manage month-end close operations to maintain timely and accurate financial records.

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly to ensure financial integrity.

• Maintain general accounting records including journal entries and adjusting journal entries.

• Handle the general ledger management to ensure all financial data is accurate.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial functions and reporting.

• Experience with NetSuite is beneficial for performing various financial operations.

• Perform auditing tasks to validate financial data and transactions.

• Ensure accurate financial reporting to provide clear and precise financial status.

• Oversee fund accounting in the non-profit sector to manage and track funds effectively.

Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of detail oriented experience in finance management role.

• Proven expertise in accounting functions and financial reporting.

• Demonstrable experience in auditing, specifically in the non-profit sector.

• Proficiency in grant accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial grants.

• Proficiency in fund accounting, specifically in the non-profit sector.

• Proficient in using NetSuite for managing and organizing financial data.

• Strong skills in using Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis.

• Proven ability to manage month-end close procedures efficiently.

• Experience in balance sheet reconciliation and ensuring financial accuracy.

• Proficiency in creating journal entries and adjusting journal entries as needed.

• Solid understanding of managing and maintaining the general ledger.
