Job Title: General Production Labourer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using overhead cranes to move materials, assisting in loading and unloading machines, and performing general clean-up duties. The role involves lifting items weighing up to 46 lbs, with periods of continuous lifting for up to 4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to move materials.

• Lift items weighing up to 46 lbs.

• Assist in loading and unloading machines.

• Perform general clean-up duties such as sweeping, reorganizing, and taking out the trash.

• General labor tasks including forklift operation and production support.

• Data entry and usage of WMS system.

• Handle hand tools and maintain a clean work environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating forklifts.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Availability to work all three shifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general labor and production.

• Familiarity with overhead cranes and hand tools.

• Basic data entry skills and WMS system knowledge.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment with rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, and 11:30 PM - 8:30 AM. Join a tenured team consisting of 16 people during the day and 4-5 in the afternoons.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Nisku, Alberta.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
