Job Summary
Responsible for all aspects of the “revenue cycle” from a treasury and accounting standpoint, including customer credit limits, invoicing, collections, credits, posting, monitoring, resolving disputes and ensuring compliance. Ongoing internal communications with Sales, Customer Service, Accounting and other Corporate functions; external communications with customers and auditors. Reporting cash collections on a daily basis and working closely with Accounts Payable counterpart to balance with vendor payments. Ability and experience to assume full accountability/ownership of “revenue cycle” and resolving the daily issues encountered. Assist with monthly accounting closes as directed and quarterly external audits and provide backup to Accounts Payable function when needed.
Essential Functions:
Establish and monitor customer credit limits
Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing
Customer cash collections ensuring timely payments, application of payments to customer accounts, processing of credits and resolution of past due or disputed amounts
Reporting daily cash collections and shipments to Executive Management
Ongoing internal and external communications to ensure completeness and accuracy of work and reporting of results
Back up and support AP with processing, writing checks, ACH’s, EFT’s and wires as needed
Other general accounting and related assistance as required.
Education and Experience
Outstanding team player taking great pride in quality of work of individual and team
Strong working knowledge of all aspects of “revenue cycle”
Associate’s degree in accounting, business or finance preferred and at least 5 years of experience
Great oral communication skills
Strong problems solving, job task planning and organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel/Word
Working in a global manufacturing environment a plus
