Fill out patient intake paperwork, setting appointments, sending and receiving correspondence, data entry, and maintaining referral files. Respond all inquiries made by patients, vendors, insurance companies and other medical facilities. Schedule patient appointments. Responding to patient’s questions and needs by editing, canceling, and re-scheduling appointments as necessary according to clinic protocols. Reviewing submitted documents to make sure they have the proper information for billing purposes. Review physician schedules regularly to maximize capacity and verify correct scheduling. Maintain a good working relationship and effective communication within the department and with other departments for the benefit of the patient.
