Job Title: Project Architect - High Rise Residential/Multi Family

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architect to support Construction Documents and Construction Administration on an affordable housing multi-family building in NYC. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently on Construction Documents in Revit and be able to go on-site for Construction Administration responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of Construction Documents for affordable housing projects.

• Perform Construction Administration duties on-site for multi-family buildings in NYC.

• Collaborate on new construction and ground-up high-rise buildings, including mixed-use, multi-family, commercial, and hospitality projects.

• Engage in the Design Development process.

• Utilize Revit for drafting and design tasks.

• Ensure compliance with NYC building codes and zoning regulations.

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture

• 5+ years of experience in architecture

• Experience with new construction and ground-up high-rise buildings

• Proficiency in Revit

• Design Development and Construction Administration expertise

• Experience with affordable housing projects

• Knowledge of NYC construction and building regulations

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Strong knowledge of codes and zoning regulations

• Experience working with clients

• Schematic Design experience

Work Environment

The position requires working on-site 5 days a week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with very little overtime. The dress code is business casual. Consultants will be assigned to one project at a time, led by a Partner/Associate Partner, Project Manager, and several intermediate architects. The firm has built some of the most prominent buildings in NYC and offers exposure to various projects, providing significant learning opportunities to further your career.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
