GENERAL FUNCTION

The role manages day-to-day issues and transformational initiatives in category. Scope includes assortment changes for product, introduction or evolution of product selling tools, training for field and stores, and other projects to support category growth and the customer experience.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide day-to-day support to stores on category initiatives and promotions to ensure smooth operations and meet store and customer needs
• Manage large scale initiatives to evolve assortment and/or category selling practices and tools, e.g., Elevate Lens, Progressives Digitization, Lens Simulator
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and hold partners accountable. Own business requirements and represent category in cross-functional contexts, e.g., website, CRM
• Support category training programs with expertise and content, e.g., Enhancements Training
• Collaborate with operations, field, vendors and other partners in testing and/or rolling out initiatives, e.g., Transitions growth initiatives
• Manage implementation and sustainment of Eye Wellness Category supporting category growth and expansion

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years' experience in brand management, product management and/or retail marketing
• BA degree with concentration in marketing, business operations, or related fields
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Exceptional ability to collaborate
• Ability to manage large complicated projects
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Understanding of the customer experience

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Project management certification and experience
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, take initiative, bring ideas to the team

Pay Range: 109,289.60-161,510.40

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
