Description

We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our client's in New York, NY. The key role of the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be to handle customer credit applications, keep precise customer credit records, and address customer inquiries. In addition, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will monitor customer accounts and take the necessary actions as required.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently handle the processing of customer credit applications.

• Keep precise records of customer credit.

• Handle and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.

• Utilize your strong analytical skills to provide detailed and accurate reports.

• Apply your understanding of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles in daily tasks.

• Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed with attention to detail.

• Use Microsoft Excel for various tasks, including VLOOKUP and pivot table functions.

• Handle cash applications and billing processes.

• Ensure cash collections and commercial collections are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

• 6 months to 3 years experience in AR

• Must have a understanding of Account Reconciliation

• Skill in Billing is highly desirable

• Ability to handle Cash Applications and Cash Collections is expected

• Experience in Commercial Collections will be advantageous

• Associates degree or higher is required

• Knowledge of VLOOKUP and Pivot Table functions in Excel is required
