Description We are actively searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will be handling various tasks related to Accounts Payable, such as processing purchase orders, managing vendor and customer inquiries, and handling data entry tasks. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Use your skills in Accounts Payable (AP) to manage and process customer invoices accurately

• Handle the coding of purchase orders and ensure they are accurately logged and processed

• Use NetSuite and Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze expense data

• Respond to vendor and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Develop and implement policies for Time and Attendance and Expense Management

• Conduct regular expense analysis to identify potential areas of cost reduction

• Use your skills in Vendor Management to ensure smooth transactions and relationships with our vendors

• Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned by team members

• Use your knowledge of Airbase + NetSuite to optimize our accounts payable processes

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and take proactive action when necessary. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Experience with NetSuite software

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with coding in a financial context

• Experience with processing and managing purchase orders

• Ability to perform thorough expense analysis

• Proven expertise in expense management

• Experience with time and attendance tracking

• Understanding of company policy adherence in a financial context

• Experience with vendor management processes

• Proficiency in invoice processing.
