Liberty Diversified International Information Technology Intern in New Hope, Minnesota

Description POSITION SUMMARY As theInformation Technology InternwithLiberty Diversified International, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience supporting various aspects of IT support, including helpdesk, desktop support, and security processes. You will join a team dedicated to providing excellent client device end-user hardware and software support, working closely with IT professionals to learn and assist with day-to-day operations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in providing technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications. Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and passwords. Assist in monitoring network security, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems. Support in conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments. Help in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and procedures. Participate in security awareness training for employees. Assist in creating end user documentation. Support in the management of IT inventory and equipment. Other duties, as assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Some education and experience with computer systems or general IT processes. Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and common software applications. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Previous experience in an IT support role or relevant coursework.
