Pro-rated the first year after 90 days of service Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year Job Purpose: - Assist company in effecting more efficient sourcing processes to save costs and maximize profitability. Negotiate with suppliers to obtain goods, materials, and services at the best prices by using strategic sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge of their ssigned commodities. Specific duties and responsibilities: Act as primary point of contact for sourcing-related activities for assigned commodities. Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company. Develop and expand category knowledge in support of sourcing projects Administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives Support Purchasing Agents focused on day-to-day activities. Request quotations for material and services, evaluate bids for pricing and delivery commitments. Perform data collection for all spend data, based on assigned commodities. Perform sourcing activities as part of cross-functional teams. Update and maintain vendor files in the system. All other duties required.
