Our client is looking for a long term contractor on their Systems Security team.

3 days a week onsite is required.

This person will be responsible for maintaining and administration of existing infrastructure. They use Checkpoint Firewalls today.

General Firewall knowledge and experience is really the key to being qualified for this role.

Job Description Summary

Under the direction of a Lead Analyst, the primary role of the IT Infrastructure Analyst is to design, install, and support for the corporate-wide internal systems with a significant focus on Firewall Administration. You will provide high level technical and administrative support for Firewalls, complemented by support for Web Servers, Load Balancers, Remote Management and Security Platforms.

Skills Required:

Two to five years of direct experience configuring, supporting, and maintaining network client/server systems, with major focus on Firewall Administration. May provide additional support to the following areas:

• Microsoft Windows Server / Microsoft Active Directory

• Port Scanning Local and Wide Area Networks

• Remote Access Management

• Web Server Administration

• Network Management Systems

• Network and Endpoint Security

Primary Responsibilities:

• Firewall Administration: This is a core responsibility. The candidate will be expected to manage and maintain firewall systems to ensure the security of the organization’s network.

• SSL Certificate Management

• Web Services Configuration

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with vendors and manage vendor relationships

• Develop departmental and end user documentation

• Provide high level trouble shooting, diagnosis and repair support to PC Tech Group and operating company IT staff. Provide deep support to help desk operations

Education or Certifications desired:

• College degree preferred in computer science or business administration with a computer science concentration, preferably with a minimum (2-5) two - five years related experience, will accept associate degree with equivalent experience

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

• Security+ Certification
