About the role and what you’ll be doing:

The Senior Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the onboarding of new clients, the day-to-day management of client engagement services and solution implementations and will ensure the overall success and delivery of the engagement by employing and adhering to Ensono and industry leading best practices. The PM utilizes established tools and templates, and follows approved processes and methodologies, to successfully execute large and complex transformational engagements. An integral part of this role is to establish, develop, and manage the engagement strategy and the detailed project plan, along with the day-to-day management of the Ensono consulting delivery team assigned to the engagement.

Plans and manages multiple company-wide projects including development of project scope, goals, work plans, cost/benefit analysis of proposals, estimation of budgets, timelines, deliverable’s, implementation and integration strategies, and resources required for successful and timely completion of such projects. Promotes client satisfaction by ensuring project adheres to stakeholder specifications. An integral part of this activity is to establish, develop, and manage key relationships with client sponsors and internal leaders. Responsible for project completion within determined scope, quality, time and cost constraints.

The ability to travel, up to 20%, is required for this role.

Collaborates with stakeholders to:

  • Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, understood and documented.

  • Define the scope, risks, potential issues and resources of the project.

  • Ensure benefits can be realized while managing the impact of the organizational change to the business and clients.

  • Develops phases of the project and interprets them into a measurable project plan.

  • Communicate both internally and externally regarding delivery of work products and services, planning efforts, personnel relationships with other organizations and resources.

  • Manage the projects adhering to Ensono’s project management methodology

  • Manage project scope in terms of mission, objectives, and requirements.

  • Manage project schedule in terms of dates and milestones.

  • Ensure effective team identification of project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies; acts as an escalation point for the team and implements effective mitigation strategies by taking corrective action to achieve resolution project goals.

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the project team.

  • Oversee the various work streams of activities in the project, including timeline, quality of work, risks, issue escalations, and collaboration amongst the various stakeholders.

  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure governance is in place and a continuous improvement/ transformation plan is in place.

  • Establish deadlines, assign tasks, monitor and summarize progress of projects.

  • Develop business insights based on analysis of results and communicate key findings to various members of management to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

  • Work with management to secure appropriate resources and people to complete assigned projects on time and within budget.

  • Appropriately escalate barriers, issues and risks to meeting timelines and deliverables.

  • Manage the development of polished executive-level presentations; deliver information to internal business associates and external clients in a clear and concise fashion.

  • Manage the project status reporting according to prescribed timelines for a given project.

  • Develop measurement processes/methods for assessing progress towards goals and project outcomes.

  • Manage costs and budget.

  • Facilitate cross-training to ensure job rotation and minimize assignment coverage gaps

  • Provide coaching feedback to all team members.

PRODUCT / INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: Understands the infrastructure project and project management discipline from both a business and technical perspective

CONSULTANT : Brings prior experience to organize and define work for complex or ambiguous situations. Actively contributes to the Global Project and Implementation (GPI) body of knowledge. Interfaces with the client’s executive management to understand critical business issues and concerns.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have any direct reports but will mentor less experienced associates in the role. This position has a matrixed team (no direct reports)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of complex IT program and project management experience

  • Project Management Institute PMP Certification

  • IT Outsourcing knowledge

  • Strong Infrastructure Management experience required

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and MS Project

  • Strong Financial Management Skills

  • Efficient team management skills

  • Strong Leadership skills

  • Ability to travel when required

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

  • Travel – As needed, anticipate 20%

Preferred

  • ITIL knowledge or certification

  • ITSM knowledge or certification

  • Project financial / revenue recognition experience

  • M.B.A. or B.S. in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering; or equivalent work experience

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $93,000 to $135,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance [OR] a role-based, sales-incentive plan, and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
