Hiring Sr. Software Architect - Remote!

Job Description - Must be a united states citizen

We are seeking a SR. Software Architect to provide technical leadership, design system architecture, and engage in hands-on coding. The ideal candidate will mentor development teams and work closely with product managers and business analysts.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead within the organization.

• Engage closely with product managers and business analysts.

• Design system architecture and produce technical designs.

• Perform hands-on coding and work at a production level.

• Mentor and facilitate the development team during sprints.

Essential Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms and backend technologies (e.g., .NET, C#).

• Hands-on experience with service-oriented architecture.

• Ability to engage in day-to-day technical tasks.

• Experience leading development efforts.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 8+ years of experience designing application solutions based on REST-based APIs using .NET Core and C#.

• Knowledge of cloud computing and experience building scalable, resilient applications using Azure.

• Experience designing microservice-based architectures using domain-driven design (DDD), CQRS, and Event Sourcing patterns.

• Clear understanding of event-driven and delegate-based design paradigms.

• Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and patterns at the enterprise level.

• Experience in data modeling techniques and knowledge of various normal forms.

• Experience working in collaborative teams and agile environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with new AI software development technologies.

Work Environment

• This position follows a remote work policy with some travel to Louisville, KY for in person meetings.

• The company offers 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year based on start date), and the opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date).

• There is also a 5-10 percent annual bonus on top of your base salary.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
