Saint-Gobain Line Lead in NASHVILLE, Arkansas

  • Be a Team Leader who leads by example by conducting Safety Huddles daily, 100% SMAT audit compliant, and 5-S Housekeeping Audits.

  • Strategic Planner, Thinker, and Implementer

  • Must be willing to run the shift in the absence of the shift Supervisor (i.e., production reporting, EWOs, Dispositions, and explanation of the run)

  • Must be able to operate the Dryer and the Panel

  • Must be willing and able to help in every aspect of the take-off to keep production flowing @ maximum level and producing a #1 product

  • Must be able to make change over’s (any Length or Product) at takeoff and at the knife

  • Be able to operate and troubleshoot knife functions

  • Must be able to pull check boards and communicate to the Wet-End Operators

  • Basic math and computer skills

  • Be able to give breaks at bundler and FLT positions

  • Willingness to be cross-trained

  • Being actively involved with implementing improvement changes as a member of Team Nashville and a strong advocate of WCM

  • Display a strong sense of focus and direction

  • Must be willing to work with any section of the operation upon request or need

  • Be willing to help cover for vacations

  • Perform Lock Out-Tag Out, as required

  • Team Participation in WCM events/activities

  • Be willing to do IAR’S by facilitating and participating

  • Other duties assigned by the Production Manager and Supervisors

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.-
